The Tian Shan Policy Center (TSPC) of the ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ University of Central Asia (AUCA) runs the quarterly Central Asia Policy Review, an analytical publication on significant developments in the fields of human rights, good governance, sustainable development, migration, and social protection in Kyrgyzstan and Central Asia. A limited number of submissions from other regions of the world will also be considered for publication.

The Central Asia Policy Review is an English-language online publication which aims to promote dialogue, contribute to debates for policy development, and raise awareness on the thematic issues covered by the TSPC. Submissions are particularly encouraged from local, regional, and international experts, professors, students, and alumni of the ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ University of Central Asia as well as other universities with a focus on Kyrgyzstan and Central Asia. Submissions from representatives of local institutions and regional and international organizations are also welcome.

Submissions should be between 1,000 and 2,500 words in length, including a 100-word abstract. Articles and papers may include short field reports on relevant subjects (max. 1,200 words); longer analytical pieces and policy papers (max. 2,500 words); and comparative studies (max. 2,500 words). Articles and papers should include an introduction, the main body of the text with a clear thesis statement and outline of the issues under consideration, conclusions and, where relevant, policy recommendations.

Proposed articles must comply with international standards of citation and have not been previously published. The Editor and the Editorial Committee reserve the right to decide whether to publish or edit the article in accordance with TSPC internal publication guidelines. By submitting an article, the author agrees to its publication and to relinquish copyrights to the Tian Shan Policy Center. Unless otherwise stated in written form by the Editorial Committee, at this initial stage no honorarium will be paid for contributions.

Authors are encouraged to contact the Editorial Committee with a short proposal to discuss their contribution, including the format they intend to pursue (ex. policy paper). Submissions should come as a Word document attachment, in Garamond 12 font. Authors should include a short bio and a snapshot. Authors are encouraged to use hyperlinks for references and avoid endnotes whenever possible.
