Minor Requirements

听

The Minor in Law Program is designed for non-law students who want to get legal knowledge and specialize in law.
To apply for minor, students must have a minimum of GPA 2.7 or higher in their major.
Students must earn a total of听30 credits to get the Law Minor Certificate. Students must earn a minimum grade of 鈥淏-鈥� for the 鈥淚ntroduction to Law鈥� or 鈥淧hilosophy of Law鈥� courses and pass the examination towards the minor at the end of the senior year.
The latest deadline to apply for the Minor is the fall semester of the student鈥檚 senior year. The request (the application letter in free form) should be approved by the Major and Minor (Law) Department heads.

Students can complete a Minor in Law either by selecting 24 credits of the courses based on the suggested Tracks below OR in general by choosing any of the courses that are of interest from the elective courses section below.
